A core part of the TLC Giving Garden mission is to give any surplus produce grown on-site to the Third Avenue Charitable Organization (TACO). Throughout the year, the Garden sends hundreds of pounds of fresh vegetables to the kitchen at TACO. Everything from boxes of tomatoes to fresh lettuce, squash and melons make their way to the kitchen.

During the summer, a load of vegetables just like this is delivered to TACO each week.
